Reiki Attunments

The Usui method of natural healing, is an offspring of Qigong with added Shintoist influence. It was re-discovered by Mikao Usui of Kyoto , Japan near the end of the 19th century. Reiki (pronounced Raykey) means universal life force energy.

First Degree Reiki connects the practitioner to the Reiki energy channel and teaches them how to conduct a Reiki treatment.

Second Degree Reiki teaches the practitioner long distance or remote healing, and the first three Reiki symbols yantras and mantras.

Third Degree Reiki initiates the practitioner to the Reiki Master/teacher level. The Reiki Master symbol, its yantra and mantra are taught along with instructions on how to perform Reiki initiations for all degrees.

Reiki initiations are for life.

Reiki Energy Work Helps to:

? Relieve pain and stress
? Recover from injury or illness
? Relieve anxiety, depression or grief
? Relax, balance, soothe, revitalize, and rejuvenate.

A typical session may last up to one hour and is done while the participant is fully clothed lying on a massage table. A brief time is set beforehand to discuss any current concerns.

All sessions are interactive with the participant as the primary healer.

Reiki is not massage, but it is a ?hands on? treatment.

Patricia obtained a Reiki 3rd Degree Master Certificate, in the Usui System of Natural Healing, in May of 1999 from Dana Pellingrini. She has taught classes in 1st, 2nd and 3rd Degree and has developed her own training materials and provides handouts for each new student. She has given hundreds of Reiki healing sessions and was instrumental in starting a Reiki Share Circle at the Stonehouse Book Store when it was in Redmond , WA.

Patricia was certified to teach JRT (Japanese Reiki Techniques) by Frank Arjava Petter in a workshop in Seattle in May of 2000. She has prepared her own JRT training manual with Arjava?s permission. Each student receives their own materials.

She was privileged to be trained in Jikiden Reiki by Tadao Yamaguchi and received the Okuden and Shoden degrees. This was the first time these classes were taught outside Japan. Tadao Yamaguchi's mother learned directly from Dr. Chujiro Hayashi who was a student of Dr. Mikao Usui.
